Within this data network, data stores are the curated data products that represent the KN business as a digital twin. Your Role As an IT Business Analyst for our Data Stores, you will be the domain and application expert, working closely with the engineering team. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining the conceptual and logical domain model behind our data products covering sea, air and road logistics. You will translate user cases and requirements relevant to our stakeholders into development-ready user stories. You will also work closely with the highly skilled engineering team in Hamburg and Porto and support them throughout the entire software lifecycle! Your Responsibilities Support all product management related tasks required to build and operate our data products.Support the product team in requirements engineering: You will define the requirements of a use case and support the prioritization of requirements.Specify user stories and epics to translate the roadmap into manageable elements to be implemented according to agile principles.Test implemented features and support the team with root cause analysis in case of bugs.Support product management by articulating tactical and strategic requirements to management, business stakeholders, and developers.Support the maintenance of product related documentation.Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to other team members. Your Skills and Experiences 3+ years of requirements engineering/feature specification experience in software development or experience from working in a business intelligence team.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills in English. Enjoy writing concise user stories and have strong experience writing good documentation.Ability to gather and analyze requirements, abstract and communicate complex content to various stakeholder groups at all levels of the organization.Experience working with data modeling or other formal specifications in complex environments, ideally at enterprise scale.Self-starter, able to motivate the team in a dynamic environment. Team player, you enjoy working collaboratively and are willing to develop and empower others.Master's degree in a logistics field with demonstrated technical aptitude or master's degree in a technical field (computer or natural sciences, engineering, business) with demonstrated interest in logistics.Experience with the applied tech stack is a plus (Jira, Confluence, Enterprise Architect, AWS, Kafka, XML/XSD, Avro).Fluency in written and spoken English.
