Job Description: As an experienced DevOps Manager, you will drive the creation, maintenance and enhancement of the infrastructure that powers our digital products. You will be the mastermind behind streamlining CI/CD pipelines, boosting system reliability and automating processes to increase development speed and product quality. You’ll play a critical role in our technology roadmap, driving the development of scalable cloud environments and empowering cross-functional teams to deploy new features seamlessly. Responsibilities : Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP to ensure high availability, security, performance and cost-effectiveness. Drive the work of the DevOps engineers from central technology for each of the ELL Tech development teams. Design and maintain cutting-edge CI/CD pipelines, automating workflows for faster, more reliable deployments. Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to integrate DevOps best practices into development cycles and coding standards like DevOps/DevSecOps, Clean Code, DDD, etc. Drive innovation with Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or Kubernetes. Drive monitoring and troubleshooting of issues in development, testing and production environments to ensure 24/7 availability. Own the configuration management and system monitoring strategies to proactively identify bottlenecks and improve performance. Ensure the team's productivity and efficiency by removing obstacles, resolving conflicts, and providing necessary Capacity. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT manager Proven experience leading DevOps scope, CI/CD pipeline design, automation tools, monitoring tools and security practices. Knowledge about DevOps platform (GitHub, SonarQube, CI/CD templates, ...), the Atlassian platform (Jira & Confluence), ServiceNow and SRE tooling & observability platform. 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructures. AWS certification is a plus. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, Jenkins and Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) At least 2+ years in a manager role. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub actions, etc. Experience with software development and DevOps/DevSecOps tools and practices, such as version control systems, issue tracking systems, CI/CD pipelines, Continuous deployment, Feature Flags, Domain Driven Design, Events Driven Architecture, Clean Code, etc. Working experience in Agile practices, product and project management principles. Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, PHP, Kotlin, Python, or C++. Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus). Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Ability to make strategic decisions, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple teams and initiatives simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. A passion for staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
