The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts payable assistant on behalf of an Industrial supplier with offices in Milton KeynesThe Role Accounts Payable are responsible for processing all invoices/credit notes to the respective Ledger accounts in order to make sure suppliers are paid correctly and in a timely manner. All invoices and credit notes received should be allocated to the rightful projects, departments, i.e. cost codes and GL code. Acknowledges the terms of the invoices, and relays that information to Accounts Payable Manager whilst also supporting Accounts Payable manager with various tasks. Day to day duties of Accounts payable assistant will consist of:Processing and checking invoices/credit notes dailyQuery investigation and resolutionChasing for missing invoices and credit notesFinance administration and inbox maintenanceLiaising with stakeholders across multiple sites.Scanning PostReconciling supplier statementsDownloading invoices from portals (e.g. fuel, utilities etc. mobile phones etc)Posting invoices in EskerYour ProfileAt least 2 years work experience in Accounts payable and has also an understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required.A degree in the following subjects would be beneficial for an Accounts Payable career:Finance or EconomicsBusiness StudiesAccountingSkills required:Attention to detail and data entry skillsGood CommunicationInterpersonal skillsProblem solvingPunctualityCritical thinkingTeamwork and collaborative skillsSalary and Benefits Role of an Accounts payable assistant in Milton Keynes is paying a Salary of £26,000 - dependant on experience. 25 days holiday a year, increasing with length of service up to 30 days, with the option to flex up/down 5 days, Life Assurance of 4 times salary, Gym membership discounts and loads moreRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
