Position Title: Accounts Semi Senior Location: Burnley Salary Range: £25,000 - £33,000 Perks Offered: Competitive remuneration Flexible and Hybrid work arrangements Team bonding activities and shared meals Access to training programs and support for further qualifications Incremental increase in annual leave based on tenure Puro Accountancy is pleased to assist an Accountancy firm in Burnley in their quest for a full-time Semi Senior Accountant to join their cohesive and experienced team of accounting professionals. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accounts include: Preparation of statutory accounts for diverse range of businesses that include companies, sole traders, and partnerships. Opportunities to work on special projects like cash flow forecasts and business plans to aid clients in securing financial support. Providing mentorship to junior team members as needed. Managing a portfolio of clients to foster strong partnerships, assisting them with day-to-day operations such as management accounting, VAT returns, and integrating cloud accounting solutions. Handling bookkeeping tasks and preparing VAT returns. Gaining experience in income tax and corporation tax calculations. For the Senior Accounts role, candidates should possess: - Minimum of 2 years' experience within a UK Practice Accountancy firm - Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Quickbooks, and other Accounting and Taxation software - Ideally qualified but consideration will be given to Part-qualified individuals or those who are QBE - Effective communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with clients and colleagues across all levels For further discussion on this opportunity, please contact Elliot at Puro Accountancy on 01904 571760 or CLICK to apply.
