What you'll be doing
The AI Engineer will play a key role in researching, designing, developing, and implementing AI-based solutions that drive business objectives and contribute to the advancement of our AI capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and software engineering, along with a passion for tackling challenging problems using AI techniques.
Research, design, and implement ML/Deep Learning models applied to natural language processing, data classification, and other areas.
Design and implement solutions leveraging state of the art GenAI models, including Large Language models.
Participate in the fine-tuning of LLMs, including the preparation of data sets.
Perform required accuracy measures and model validations.
Collaborate with product managers, domain experts, and medical scientists to define requirements.
Partner with software engineers for seamless integration of AI models, ensuring operational success.
Engage with scientific literature to stay ahead of emerging trends.
Drive automation and efficiency improvements in our workflows.
Provide support to internal teams, facilitating resolution of technical issues.
Identify and pursue new opportunities to add value to the organization and departmental processes.
Foster a collaborative environment, supporting colleagues in achieving collective and individual goals.
What we look for
Degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
3+ Years of experience Developing natural language processing models/applications with a proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
Performing model training across different model architectures and data modalities
Strong understanding of various Deep Learning techniques.
Past experience developing AI models for the healthcare and life science industry a plus.
Solid understanding of machine learning tools and techniques (e.g., Pytorch, Keras, TensorFlow, Pandas, Scikit-learn).
Familiarity with software and systems engineering concepts, including cloud computing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) is a plus.
Exceptional motivational and team-building skills, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Ability to work in group setting and independently.
Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks to meet established schedules, timelines, or deadlines.
Problem solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and meticulous work.
