If you are an experienced Analog IC Designer and/or Systems Architect and are looking for the next step in your career then this could be a very interesting role to consider: A successful and leading company with strong employee values currently seeks a highly motivated and experienced System Architect to join their Systems Architecture team. In this role you will be responsible for defining and architect the next generation of market-leading power management, audio and other high performance mixed-signal solutions. You will be working with customers, marketing, design, software and applications teams to define the next-generation solutions products for mobile, consumer and automotive electronics markets. You will be involved in the complete life-cycle of product development, starting with a strong focus on requirements capture, analysis, concept feasibility study, and solution definition, working directly with design teams on key architecture aspects. Responsibilities include: Architecture definition for complex ICs involving; buck/boost converters, hybrid switch capacitor converters, LED drivers, class AB/D amplifiers, DACs/ADCs, charge pumps, and DSP. Lead architecture reviews and participate in IC-level design reviews with design engineering, applications, validation and product test engineers. Detail system and performance requirements generation for ICs. Determine hardware/software trade-off analysis for key features and requirements. Drive domain expertise in Analog and Mixed Signal. Work with Design Engineering, Advanced Technology, and IP teams on novel solutions. Contribute to business planning around the Analog and Mixed Signal technology function. Communicate ideas and specifications. Understand finer details of customer architectures and road-maps. Masters or PhD qualified in Electronic Engineering or Microelectronics, you will have relevant experience in Analog/Mixed signal CMOS circuit design and with Systems Architecture related experience. Excellent communication skills are required with the ability to work well in a team and thrive in a dynamic environment. An innovative and creative problem solver, you will be organised, thorough and detailed with a high level of self-motivation and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
