Job Type: Permanent Location and flexible working: Edinburgh - Office based training at our state-of-the-art Lothian Road Office, for the first 6 months and then moving to a home/office split. This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy building rapport and putting customers at the heart of what you do. If you have a burning desire to connect with customers, and create an exceptional and engaging experience to help them make the most of their money now and for their future.As an Annuity Consultant in our Advice & Guidance team, you will support our customers who are looking to purchase a guaranteed income for life through an Annuity plan.You will be providing guidance to customers in relation to purchasing and setting up an annuity, either through Standard Life or via the whole of market. The role holder will interact with customer requests on an inbound and outbound basis, via telephone, mail, email, online and utilising hybrid technology. At Phoenix we commit to investing in your future and we will provide support for you to obtain the role required R04 qualification within 12 months, with the potential to further add to this. The programme includes on-going training and development that will enable you to progress to full competence. What we’re looking for Someone who can demonstrate an understanding of your customer’s situation and needs, and keep them informed of all relevant options, risks and benefits. Ability to communicate and explain technical detail in a simple way, whilst remaining compliant and jargon free. Experience of conducting customer focused conversations. Experience of achieving key performance indicators, in relation to good customer outcomes and productivity. Someone who can take ownership of complex enquiries, including potential vulnerability and sensitive health information, referring to specialist support where necessary.
