Robert Half Technology are assisting a leading Hedge Fund based in London to recruit an Application Support Engineer on a contract basis paying £450 - £550 per day.RoleThe Application Support Engineer will provide MySQL and T-SQL Database support and maintenance.3rd line technical support and maintenance of in-house and out-of-box applications.Improve and support integration between the various applications.Improve and support the business workflows within the applications.Monitor and support batch system jobs.Out of hours support to monitor batch jobs and system alerts.Special projects and other duties as assignedProfileThe Application Support Engineer will have solid experience with the following:PHP 5 OOPMySQL 5HTML 5 & CSSCentos/RedhatWindows Server 2016/2019.Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019PowershellFIX messaging for trading applications.Shell scripting with bash.Knowledge and practical experience of application security best practices.Knowledge of financial datasystems and data warehousing.CompanyLeading Hedge Fund with offices in London£450 - £550 per daySalary & BenefitsThe salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
