If you have a passion for cooking and aspire to grow in a creative and corporate kitchen environment, this is the opportunity for you!What the apprenticeship will involve: Assisting with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of our catering team leadersEnsuring high-quality standards in food production, working to recipe cards and menu cyclesSupporting the planning and production of our daily food offersLearning and adopting various cooking techniques, processes and food safety practicesUnderstanding the criticality of kitchen hygiene and allergen control, maintaining a clean and organised workspaceWorking with the senior team to understand stock control and best practices in regards to equipmentCollaborating with the kitchen team to create innovative dishesThe apprentice scheme will run for a period of 4 years. During this time, you will cover a broad base of competency training with successive placements across the account in different areas to bring your skill level up to the required standard. In the 4th year you will be placed into an area which is deemed likely that a position will become vacant to the end of the apprenticeship.The scheme is supported by HIT who are specialist training providers and provide expert support.
