Job Description: The successful candidate will embark on an exciting career path, gaining hands-on experience and formal training in the field. They will work alongside experienced engineers, learning to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills and build a rewarding career in engineering. Key Responsibilities: Assist senior engineers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies. Training and Development: Complete an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) over the first three years. Pursue an HNC (Higher National Certificate) in the fourth year. Receive mentorship from experienced engineers. Opportunities for career progression within the company. Requirements: A full UK driving license Be 18 years old or over A keen interest in mechanical and electrical engineering. Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Relevant GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Science, and English. Willingness to travel extensively during and after the apprenticeship.
