Assembly Operatives required for a growing company in Waterbeach, Cambridge Temp to perm 08:00 - 16:30 core hours with optional overtime Early finish on a Friday Rate of pay depends on experience and level of skills Parking on site Training provided and progression plan available You will be assembling parts and panels to the specification of engineering drawings. You may be requested to support other manufacturing departments if the workload requires. You will become skilled in your work area and have you own workstation and tools. Key Responsibilities · Bonding · Potting Inserts · Filling · Sanding · De-coring · Drilling · Edge taping Key Performance Measures · Parts per day completed · Reject rates · Efficiency Knowledge and skills · Understand basic engineering drawing · Experience of hand held tools (sanders / drills) · Knowledge of measuring equipment (rulers / verniers / tape measure) · Time served or interest in hands on production role and assembly (possibly carpentry or building background) · Attention to detail · Able to follow instructions This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
