Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an Interim Assistant Accountant to join a busy business with a great reputation based in North-East Bristol.This opportunity is a Fixed Term Contract for a period of circa 15 monthsStart Date: Flexible (Ideally June 2024)Duration: 15 months Salary range DOE: £30,000 - £37,000 + Study Support (ACCA/CIMA/AAT)Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the officeWorking hours - 35 hours a week, flexible with start/finish timeRole includes:Monthly balance sheet reconciliationsDaily bank reconciliationsSystem postings and supporting MI reportsClearing down aged/reconciling itemsDaily cash management and reconciliation of bank accountsEnsuring that the ledgers are closed and all month-end processes are completed on timeContinuously seek improvements and efficiencies to the team's processesAssisting the team covering other reconciliations, the financial control framework, external auditor requests etc Skills/Experience needed:Analytically minded - Enjoys handling large amounts of data and analysing informationEnjoys sharing ideas, thinking outside of the box and making suggestionsPrevious experience with - Reconciliations, reporting, analysing, posting journalsComfortable using Excel (Any knowledge around Power BI is desirable)Ambitious & willing to learn and progressTeam playerBenefits included:Study support (ACCA/CIMA/AAT)Hybrid workingFlexibilityGenerous annual leaveRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
