EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW Our Network Control team have an opportunity for you to join as our new Assurance Technician In your new role, you’ll be responsible for assuring data linked to water ODI’s ensuring the most accurate reporting possible. The team are responsible for the auditing of Supply interruptions, Low pressure days, burst mains, Speed of response and Unplanned outage. In this role you will need a right first-time approach to make certain we are fully compliant with guidance outlined by OFWAT. Some of your other key accountabilities will include: Review & analyse data to create validation packs across multiple ODI’s Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify improvement areas. Ensure our data complies with company and OFWAT standards. Support Water Assurance manager in all aspects of Annual Return Reporting, audit and conformance monitoring / management. Consistently apply a set methodology to ensure we are compliant with both the ODI and GSS policies. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE We’re seeking our new Assurance Technician to be highly motivated to ensure we turn around validations within our target SLA. To be successful, it’s expected that you’ll have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own time and hit multiple deadlines. Being a technical role you must have the ability to understand complex hydraulic issues, regulatory demands and new operational challenges to improve regulatory compliance. Good communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing will put you in good stead as you’ll be working across multiple departments.
