Bookkeeper Telford Up to £28,000 DOE Puro Accountancy are pleased to be working with a leading accountancy practice who are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in Telford. The firm provides a wide range of accounting services to clients in various industries and are looking for a bookkeeper who can manage a portfolio of clients with accuracy and attention to detail, using double entry bookkeeping. Benefits: Competitive salary Free onsite parking Pension plan Healthcare plan Flexible working Opportunities for career development and progression Responsibilities: Sales and purchase invoice entry Recording and reconciliation of bank/cash/credit card/paypal transactions Preparation and/or review of CIS submissions Assist clients with any bookkeeping related queries Liaise with HMRC as necessary to reconcile VAT/PAYE control accounts Posting month end journals such as payroll, depreciation, accruals and prepayments Preparation and submission of VAT returns including VAT schemes Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles Excellent knowledge of accounting software, such as Xero or QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Strong communication and interpersonal skills A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes If you are a skilled and experienced bookkeeper with a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles and are looking for an exciting new opportunity in a dynamic and growing accountancy practice, we would love to hear from you.
