Job Title: Bookkeeper & PA Location: Birchwood, Warrington (on-site) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Role: Permanent - Full-Time We Are McCarthy. With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, we are looking for a skilled, motivated and detail orientated Bookkeeper & PA to join our dynamic team. The Bookkeeper & PA will be responsible for supporting the management of the financial health of the company in addition to operational and executive assistant tasks, working closely with our Senior Leadership Team this is a key role within our business. You should be familiar with audits, invoices, and budget preparations in addition to P&L reporting, sales reporting and the creation of management information packs. This is a varied role and our ideal candidate will be a conscientious team player who relishes the opportunity to combine bookkeeping and finance responsibilities with supporting the leadership team. Bookkeeper & PA Key Responsibilities: Full bookkeeping Payroll, P11D, VAT, tax and corporation tax management Creditor management Debtor management Cash flow management and bank reconciliation Supporting the management of accounting operations Supporting the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and reports Supporting the preparation of monthly financial statements Coordinating the preparation of management reports Supporting month-end and year-end close processes Develop and document processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Supplier management Travel and expenses Purchasing and stock control Booking accommodation Diary management Collation of management information, P&L and sales reporting Skills, Qualifications and Key Attributes Proven experience as a Bookkeeper & PA or in a similar role, with a strong working knowledge of Xero.
