Business and Programme Manager Location: London Length: 6 Months Rate: £32.44 p/h PAYE (Approx. £67.4K Per annum) Hours: 9am – 6pm This client is a market leader in the homestays hospitality sector, allowing you to book anything from a short stay in some of the worlds most unique vacation rental properties to a longer stay in a townhouse in London via their platform. The community you will join: This organisation is seeking a Business and Program Manager to join the Italy and Spain Geos teams within our CBO organization for a 6-month commitment. As a Programs and Business Operations Manager, you will work with the Country Managers in Italy and Spain to develop and execute strategies to grow the success of the business Platform in your territory. You will also align the functions operating in your country behind common objectives and work with other teams in the organization on cross border projects. Your attention to detail, organization, ability to multitask, work on multiple priorities and work under pressure will all ensure you succeed. You should be great at understanding the needs of the business community and defining levers to help them succeed in the platform. You will develop strong relationships and deliver valuable guidance to help them grow within the marketplace. The difference you will make: Help Country Managers define and implement key operational initiatives - both tactical short-term wins and strategic long-term actions - dedicated to scale the operations while maintaining best-in class quality standards Accelerate the business growth, testing and unlocking additional host and guest acquisition levers Identify ‘game changing’ product improvements to facilitate operations organization and improve our guest/host satisfaction Drive regular business operation meetings and initiate meaningful conversations - leading weekly meetings with cross-functional project teams (field & online operations, marketing, product, legal) to ensure key initiatives are on track Present analysis, insights and actionable plans to senior leadership team to drive key business decisions Support leadership team in planning, budget and long-term strategy definition Skills: Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of work experience, preferably with combined exposure to Management consulting and/or project management in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment Hands-on approach, getting things done fast Strong written and verbal communicator with excellent presentation skills. Fluent in English and either Italian or Spanish is a plus Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales operations and enablement teams Ability to take initiative and deal with uncertainties Strong appetite for working with the community Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills. Pays attention to both details and macro-level outcomes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever changing startup environment Data driven, can do attitude, strategic thinker and passion for new products and solutions. Comfortable with Excel, SQL is a plus
