This role is fundamental in the enhancement of our Financial Controls Strategy and Framework. Helping the organisation set up for success; including the implementation of our Programme sponsorship model. What you’ll be doing as a Financial Control Manager As we prepare enter a new AMP period, this role is fundamental in the enhancement of our Financial Controls Strategy and Framework. Helping the organisation set up for success; including the implementation of our Programme sponsorship model. The role is key to supporting and holding to account our Delivery teams; ensuring adherence to Financial principals and controls. Responsibility for producing monthly financial and governance controls pack and on-going development due to business change and development of new AMP period. Relationship management with all parts of the Capital model; Key Business Partners for this role are the Engineering, Asset Management, Capital Delivery and Operational Directorates; as well as our colleagues in Strategic Business Planning and Commercial. Base Location: Reading - Hybrid Working Pattern: 36 Hours What you should bring to the role Positive result driven mind-set, with strong leadership and communication skills Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) Strong analytical skills, especially with Excel and SAP Experience of working in a utilities/water organisation is desirable but not essential What’s in it for you?
