Hybrid Role: Flexible office attendance required, with specifics to be discussed during the interview. Are you a qualified social worker with a passion for making a difference in children's lives? Do you have at least two years of experience in a statutory front door setting? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our team in a non-case holding capacity. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Complex Enquiries: Undertake complex enquiries to support the screening and decision-making processes. Guidance and Support: Assist and guide social care officers with their enquiries, ensuring best practices are followed. Multi-Agency Meetings: Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings such as MARAC and MARAC dailies. Consultation Development: Support the development of a consultation line and provide consultations with professionals to offer advice and guidance on referrals and processes. Flexible and Evolving Role: Adapt to the evolving needs of the team, focusing on supporting front door activities to ensure timely and robust decision-making. Requirements: Qualifications: Qualified social worker with a relevant degree. Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a statutory front door setting. Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex enquiries. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support and guide social care officers and collaborate with multi-agency partners.
