Then look no further as my well-established client is looking out for an ambitious and collaborative Senior Civil Engineer, with minimum relevant UK industry experience of minimum 2+ years'. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed designs for stormwater drainage systems, including storm sewers, detention ponds, and retention basins. Use hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software to simulate and analyze drainage patterns and flows. Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.. Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with other team members to ensure project milestones are met. Prepare technical reports, design documents, and project proposals. Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates. Present design concepts and solutions to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Utilize industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Micro Drainage, etc. Company details: This company is a leading civil engineering consultancy that specialises in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for a wide range of infrastructure projects. Successful candidate specifications: Minimum relevant UK experience of 2+ years’ in drainage, highways, utilities and/or infrastructure design; Assist in the preparation of engineering designs, drawings, plans, reports and specifications. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential project data. Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop engineering solutions. Performing calculations and analysis related to project design. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Participate in the review and analysis of project documentation. Support construction activities, including monitoring progress and quality. Assist in the management of project documentation and records. Stay current with industry trends, technologies and best practices.
