Senior/Lead Drainage Engineer – Cardiff Salary - £37,000 - £45,000 I am working with a well renowned consultancy based in the Centre of Cardiff, who are looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer to help run their Infrastructure Team. The company are multi-discipline, single office with around 45 staff. The company: The consultancy offers a range of services, including Civil and Structural Engineering. They have been running for over 30 years – and have grown sustainably since then, but more noticeably in the last 5-10 years, and the modern offices have a great feel to them. Sectors: They cover: Commercial Highways Flood Risk Education And more – they have the resources in place to work on any project that they win. They are also looking to branch out into further disciplines in the near future. Main Responsibilities: As a Senior Engineer you would be expected to help lead the Drainage/Infrastructure Team, get stuck in with detailed design, and help mentor Junior staff. We need someone who can motivate a team and keep morale high. Ideally, you would be: Chartered or close to – but this is not a necessity 5+ years’ experience Experienced in Leading a small team Experience with Client Liaison Experience with Civil3D, MicroDrainage (PDS is an extra) Have worked with SuDS and SAB applications Projects: Their projects vary from Water Main bursts up to £20 million frameworks from a mix of Private and Public Sector Clients, waste to energy plants and the transition of Airfields into correct use.
