Pertemps have partnered with a growing manufacturing company and we are looking to recruit experienced CNC Laser and Plasma Operatives in the Sheffield area. Pay: £13.00 - £15.00 ph Shifts: 3 shift pattern (Days, Nights and Afters) Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC laser and plasma cutting machines to produce high-quality parts according to technical drawings and specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD designs. Set up machines, including loading materials and adjusting settings for each job. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet established standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Keep accurate records of production activities and machine performance. Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Laser or Plasma Operative. Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a passion for precision manufacturing.
