CNC Operator £11.72ph - Permanent opportunity Monday- Thursday 6:45am- 4:30pm We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator with expertise in operating HURCO CNC machines. in the heart of Birmingham with excellent transport links and working hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating HURCO CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities " Set up and prepare HURCO CNC machines for production runs, including loading materials and installing tools and fixtures. " Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. " Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency. " Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on HURCO CNC machines. " Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications. " Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. " Document production activities and maintain accurate records of machine settings and adjustments. Requirements: " Proven experience working with HURCO CNC machines. " Strong understanding of machining processes and materials. " Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. " Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. " Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. " Ability to work independently and as part of a team. " Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
