Robert Half are pleased to partner with an growing PE backed business in order to hire a new Financial Business Partner. The Group is highly acquisitive and continuing to facilitate growth through acquisition, the role will support growth of two key operational entities and report into the Head of Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and initial review of the Management Accounts and cash flow forecast as well as driving the performance of the business through financial analysis. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the updating and maintaining of WIP files on a monthly basisOversee the management accounts production with an initial review, including variance analysisResponsible for the preparation of the cash flow forecastsResponsible for the preparation of short-term daily cash flow forecastsBusiness partnering with Operations, regularly reviewing the CTCs, projected outturns and projected cashflow on all major projectsEnsure Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewedSupporting the Head of Finance to develop the finance teamSupporting with divisional forecasting and the development of annual budgetsEnsure any HMRC submission such as PAYE, VAT, CIS, P11D reviewed and submitted on timeSupporting internal and external audit processDevelop, maintain and enforce appropriate financial policies, procedures and controls with the finance teamSupport the Head of Finance and Finance Director with any financial analysis as requiredStreamline and drive continuous improvement in order to gain efficiencies in the finance teamAny other ad-hoc reporting or duties as requiredRequirements:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)Strong Excel SkillsExposure to BI reporting/SQL/Marcos (Preferred) Project Accounting (Preferred)High attention to detailExperience partnering with and challenging "non-financial stakeholders"Clear communicatorAwareness of detail surrounding individual project working capitalRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
