Role Responsibility To consistently prepare and cook all food to the standards and dish specifications, as implemented by the kitchen management teamTo be hands on and present during the busy service periodsTo be a team player at all times and be prepared to be flexible in order to ensure that all operations are always as guest-focused, efficient and profitable as possibleTo ensure that Sodexo Health & Safety Policy and Food Safety Management System are adhered to in the kitchen including all related paperwork checks & record keeping, as requested by the kitchen management teamTo assist in the delivery of best practice within the kitchen, as laid out by the kitchen management teamTo develop strong team relations via open communication between all members of the restaurant team both front and back of house The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as commis chef or kitchen assistant, who has worked in busy and fast paced work environmentCalm and patient under pressureAble to work within a very busy lounge and stressful environmentOverall a passion for foodDemonstrative customer focus and service skills Package Description 40 hours per week £ per hour Lounge opening hours - 4am - 11pm 4 on 2 off - varying shift timesRole will be permanent once passed vetting Employee benefits, rewards and recognition.
