Ready to drive innovation and best practices in water asset management? Join us as a commissioning assurance manager at Capital Delivery. Lead Thames Water MEICA and commissioning engineers to ensure project outcomes align with operational requirements and drive holistic commissioning across engineering disciplines. Your pivotal role will contribute to delivering life's essential service through major projects. What you’ll be doing as a Commissioning Assurance Manager Liaising with internal and external stakeholders ensures work is undertaken according to an agreed programme. Ensuring that all deliverables, including documentation and training, are to the requirements of Thames Water. Assurance of commissioning through all phases of project delivery. This includes reviewing contractor/consultant documentation for buildability, commissioning, and final delivery. The critical role also involves integrating the new works into existing plants and proactively working with the operational client to manage risk to active process streams. The role will manage a team of multi-discipline engineers to support delivery. This role will be based on a hybrid basis suitable to your home location within the Thames Water regions, so there must be flexibility to travel across the Thames Water regions 2-3 days of their 36-hour week. The successful candidate must drive and have access to a car, and this role comes with a £5.8k car allowance. What you should bring to the role Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and control system engineering in commissioning new plant assets. Engineering Degree qualified or equivalent. Significant commissioning experience. Able to manage a team of multi-discipline engineers. Able to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders. Able to manage a range of physical and digital deliverables to specified requirements and the operator's satisfaction. What’s in it for you?
