About Your New Company: Our client is a prominent national provider offering comprehensive repair, maintenance, and LOLER inspections for various types of cranes About Your New Overhead Crane Engineering Role: As an Overhead Crane Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of overhead cranes. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that hire equipment is maintained to a high standard, conducting PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) work, and promptly attending customer sites to address breakdowns. You will also be responsible for adhering to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) standards to ensure compliance and safety. What You’ll Need to Succeed for This Overhead Crane Engineer Role: Previous experience in a similar role involving cranes, powered access, plant machinery, or material handling equipment. Essential electrical knowledge to diagnose and repair overhead cranes effectively. LEEA qualification demonstrating proficiency in lifting equipment inspection and maintenance. CSCS Card to access construction sites safely. A passion for delivering excellent service and the ability to work effectively in a team. NVQ qualification or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Full UK driver's license with a willingness to travel to customer sites. Previous experience as a Crane Engineer would be advantageous. Comfortable working at heights as part of your daily tasks.
