Data I/O Supervisor – Night Shift My client is a global broadcast and media distribution company they are expanding their London HQ and are looking for an experienced Data I/O Supervisor to supervise the night shifts. As a Data I/O Supervisor, you will be performing operational duties processing jobs via our internal business system whilst keeping all relevant stakeholders informed of progress and any issues. You will oversee and organise digital assets entering and leaving the building using several delivery methods. In addition, you will also be the point of contact for my clients Operational and Client Service teams for all Data I/O related queries whilst supporting the Data I/O team. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday Monday – Friday, 10PM – 7AM. This role will be based onsite full time with the possibility of moving to hybrid once probation is passed. Key responsibilities: Providing prompt and secure handling of all material received and sent from the office. Downloading and delivering content across numerous delivery methods. Archiving across a range of LTO formats. Spot checking incoming files and deliverables to adhere to client’s specification. Keeping our inhouse database updated on all orders. Communicating queries or missing materials required to complete a task. To be inquisitive and proactive on learning new requirements as necessary. Managing and reporting any technical problems or errors into the Head of Department. Responsible for ensuring all operational procedures are followed. Maintaining all data within the business. Working on adhoc projects when required. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a Data I/O supervisor role. Knowledge of digital delivery methods. Team player who can self-manage workload whilst supporting others when needed. Good communication skills and ability to prioritize your workload, and the capability to collaborate with and assist other team members. Good attention to detail and the ability to plan complex projects with urgency. Good working knowledge of Xytech MediaPulse, Aspera & Signiant delivery systems. Flexible approach to working hours should changes in shift patterns be required. Have true interest and experience in working in digital supply chain.
