We are recruiting for multi-drop delivery drivers to help support a busy depot in a fast paced work environment. Location: Cambridge Days: Monday - Sunday shifts available, 5 - 6 shifts per week, Saturdays are required Shift times: from 7.00am start, 40hrs+/week Duration: 6 weeks temporary, with opportunity for permanency Pay rate: £13.37/hr - £15.68/hr depending on hours and days worked Responsibilities: Commence each day at the delivery office, organising and gathering mail/parcels for distribution correctly and efficiently Utilise a handheld device to obtain customer signatures for deliveries and receive routing instructions. Expect physically demanding tasks. Perform delivery driving duties. Drive the Royal Mail vans whilst adhering to health and safety procedures and UK road laws. Deliver letters and parcels in a timely and friendly manner. Deliver great customer service when delivering. Essential Skills: Hold a valid UK driving license (manual or automatic) with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferable). Able to pass a DBS check successfully. While prior delivery or driving experience is advantageous, it is not obligatory. Demonstrate strong time management and organisational capabilities. Possess excellent communication skills and a dedication to providing good customer service. Commitment to safe and responsible driving practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Committed, motivated, enthusiastic and reliable attitude. Physically Fit. Able to meet delivery targets.
