Supply Chain Planner Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 DOE Location: Chesterfield Do you have demand planning experience? Are you a natural problem-solver? Are you passionate about forecasting and ensuring fulfilment is met? If you have answered yes to the above then we want to hear from you!! The Opportunity You’ll become a key part in a leading gas company across the UK, who take pride in ensuring their clients’ orders are being fulfilled in time and in full. There are multiple routes to progression, both professionally and personally, with valuable insight into working in a high-profile company. Problem solving and working with historic data is an area that must interest you as demand planning is crucial to the ongoing success of the business. The Role You’ll use key business and marketing data to predict future product demand, ensuring both organisational goals and customer needs are met. Your predictions will be fuelled by seasonal trends, and previous patterns, along with insights from the various sales teams. Utilising your analytical skills, you’ll identify key opportunities for growth whilst also supporting an existing client base. Further to this, you’ll: Play a key part in a risk assessment and mitigation activities Schedule weekly, monthly forecast meetings with stakeholders Identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans Present your feedback and findings to the senior leadership team Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure all data is accurate and provided in a timely manner Work to best practice and adhere to all relevant guidelines / governance / regulations The Ideal Candidate It goes without saying that as our ideal candidate you will have excellent organisational and analytical skills. To thrive in this role, you must have great proficiency in liaising with multiple stakeholders in a professional manner. Whilst it helps if you have a background in logistics and previous experience in demand planning, this wouldn’t be detrimental to your application. Furthermore, you will: Preferably have strong geographical knowledge of the UK Have a problem-solving mindset with strong collaboration skills Have the ability to build excellent working relationships
