Location: Stourport-on-Severn Hours: 07:00 - 16:00 Friday 07:00 - Early Finish Pay: £11.44 p/hr Contract: Temp - Perm Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative based in Stourport. This role is Temporary to Permanent and offers the potential to progress within the company. As a key member of the Despatch Team you will support your colleagues in Packing of goods, loading vehicles and any other tasks required. A valid, in date Forklift License is required for this role. The Duties of a Despatch Operative: Manual handling including packing of parts Checking parts & packing parcels Greeting drivers and ensuring correct paperwork is signed General data input (e.g packing lists) Load and unload vehicles using the Forklift Assistance in working for other departments when necessary Completion of despatch documentation when required Operation of various equipment as required, Chop saw, nail gun, banding machines The Requirements of a Despatch Operative: Valid In Date Forklift Licence Computer literate Must be punctual with great time management Good communicator, English reading/writing skills Team player with experience of working within a factory setting Physically demanding role, must be ok with heavy lifting Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained Must follow Health and Safety regulations If you are interested in this role and could see yourself as part of the Despatch Team, please click 'APPLY' now and follow the instructions.
