Job Title: Driver's Mate (Removals) Location: Depot is in Marlow, Various locations within Berkshire & Buckinghamshire Working Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:30 Job Description: We are seeking a professional and reliable Driver's Mate to join our client's busy team in Marlow, working in luxury homes for high-end clients. This role requires a candidate who is punctual, well-presented, and has exceptional customer-facing skills. The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in removals, be comfortable with heavy lifting, and be willing to adhere to our policy of removing shoes before entering clients' homes. Key Responsibilities of a Driver's Mate: Assist the driver with the loading and unloading of furniture and other items. Ensure the safe handling and transportation of clients' belongings. Provide excellent customer service, addressing clients' needs and concerns professionally. Maintain a clean and presentable appearance. Follow instructions from the driver and other team members to ensure efficient and effective removals. Remove shoes before entering clients' homes to maintain cleanliness and respect their property. Comply with health and safety regulations. Requirements of a Removals Driver's Mate: Previous experience in removals is highly desirable. Strong physical fitness, capable of heavy lifting. Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic. Excellent customer service skills. Well-presented and professional demeanour. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
