Job Title: Estimating Engineer Location: Wigan (WN2) Pay Rate: £30K - £35K (DOE) Shifts : Mon- Thurs 08:00- 16:30, Friday 08:00- 12:30 Contract: Temp - Permanent The Company/Role Our client is one of the UK's leading Electrical Manufacturing businesses, who are a subsidiary of the global company Siemens. You will be responsible for project enquiries using Promis-e and other quoting tools, maintaining high quality service for customers at all times. As the Estimating Engineer, your duties will be: Compile quotations within requested timescales. Interpret schematic diagrams and/or specifications. Ensure information if available for technical submittal. Liaise with the operations to ensure Factory Built Assemblies are built in line customer and quotation requirements. Liaise with customers to ensure they are kept up to date on the progress with their orders. The ideal Estimation Engineer will hold the following skills and experiences: Qualified to minimum ONC level, within an Electrical discipline. Fully conversant with Microsoft Office. Previous experience in a project type environment is ideal. A positive, pro-active attitude with good interpersonal skills.
