About the Role: As an Estimator, you will support the Managing & Senior Estimators in developing estimates for multi-disciplined Highways Projects. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing customer drawings and specifications to prepare accurate costing sheets for materials, labour, and equipment. Overseeing design options and identifying value solutions. Recording assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting risk evaluation. Liaising with project team members and the supply chain to understand methodologies and principles proposed. You will also take the lead on small to medium-sized bids, ensuring tender deliverables are produced effectively and on time. This includes: Ensuring compliance with company procedures. Reviewing tender documents and submission requirements. Establishing and agreeing key rates. Detailed analysis of subcontractors’ proposals. Who We’re Looking For: An individual with an infrastructure main contractor background and experience in estimating roles. A candidate with good financial acumen and proficiency in IT applications like Word and Excel. Experience with Candy Estimating Software is desirable but not essential. Working towards or holding a relevant industry chartership (e.g., ICE, CICES, RICS, CIOB) is advantageous. Ready to advance your career in Highways?
