Event Speaker Coordinator- Global Media Group- London Salary £33K - Hybrid working About The Role DNA Recruit has partnered up with a leading Global Media Group who are seeking an Event Speaker Coordinator to join their London team. The Event Speaker Coordinator will join a welcoming, diverse, and growing team based in London. The successful candidate will assist with event operations and support speaker logistics for the company's portfolio of conferences and events throughout the year. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with Conference Producers on speaker deliverables for each event portfolio. Send confirmation emails to all speakers for each assigned event, requesting professional headshots and bios. Post headshots and bios on the corresponding event website, linking speakers to their respective agenda spots based on content provided by the Conference Producer. Input speakers into the CRM database for registration and upload to the virtual platform. Gather all presentation materials and compile them into a PowerPoint slide reel for onsite needs. Coordinate panel calls up to six weeks before the event start date. Manage speaker requirements for multiple events simultaneously. Handle on-site management and coordination. Gathering speakers in the Speaker Ready Room or designated main session area. Directing speakers to get mic’d appropriately and guiding them to the stage and/or virtual platform. Coordinating the onsite gathering of speakers and providing guidance for onsite presentation needs. Correspond with speakers via email/phone for any post-event requests. Requirements Minimum 1 year’s solid experience within B2B conferences/events (events for 150+ people). Experience with working on multiple events simultaneously Experience with building and managing events platforms such as event websites, events apps and/or virtual event platforms Experience with being the sole lead on speaker management for 80 - 150 speakers per event, managing all aspects of the event from pre event communication, registration on CRM, registration on the day, onsite signage for sessions to on the day running of the event including the event app/virtual platform. Possesses strong onsite leadership skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with multiple event teams (event coordinators, sponsorship managers, producers, marketing etc) A team player.
