The Company: A leading system integration specialist for electrical and mechanical automation system operating at client sites around the world are looking for their next Fabricator/Welder. They’re looking for hard-working individuals to join the team, offering structured professional development in return for a passion to contribute to the success of the team and company. You’ll be reporting to the Mechanical Project Manager and/or a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of projects. If successful, you’ll be fabricating electrical containment systems and small stainless steel support structures. What’s on offer: £17 per hour Hours- 7:00-15:30 Monday-Friday (May vary when on-site) Training and development Private medical scheme Free parking Statutory pension What could you be doing: Assist with the installation, upkeep, alteration, and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment. Aid Project Managers and Engineers in preparing quotes. Implement safe work systems (RAMS). Comply with any Permit to Work requirements set by site Duty Holders. Utilise efficient work methods and techniques. Evaluate task completion and report any issues or deviations. Ensure all tools and equipment used are certified and/or calibrated. Apply continuous improvement principles to achieve best practices. What are we looking for: Previous experience in MIG& TIG welding and fabrication Light welding and general fabrication experience Ability to work from technical drawings.
