Internationally successful: The Wienerberger GroupCome and join us as a Fabricator Welder at our Kingsbury site in Tamworth!About the RoleOur Kingsbury factory specialises in manufacturing bricks for the building/construction industry. As a Fabricator Welder, you will be part of the inhouse team who keep the plant running and the equipment running smoothly.You will work with the Maintenance Manager and Production team to ensure the dryer car fleet and kiln car fleet are maintainedDuties include:Maintain the metal support structure of the kiln car and dryer car fleetRemove corroded metal parts using the appropriate power toolsWelding / repairs using appropriate equipmentDefine materials / consumable requirements list for the work planAid the production team in removing /replacing the refractory supports in kiln carsAssist the maintenance department as requiredActively take part in the PIP ProgrammeParticipate in the PIP process and support the 5S’s and visual management techniquesWe will provide you with full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to enable you to safely and effectively work as part of our maintenance team.Hours of Work: – , Monday Friday About YouYou will be an experienced fabricator/welder with experience of working in a manufacturing/factory environment.Safety is our biggest priority, so you’ll be committed to safe working and have strong experience of health and safety best practice.You’ll enjoy working in a busy environment where you can roll your sleeves up and get hands-on. You will also be flexible in your approach, focusing on the changing day-to-day priorities, which will enable the factory to continue to run efficiently.As this role is sometimes physically demanding, you’ll be fit enough to perform the various duties.
