Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Financial Accountant for a growing business with a UK Head Office based in York. This varied role will expose the successful candidate to a wide range of financial reporting while also working closely with the Senior Leadership teamThe RoleReporting into the Finance Controller and working on a hybrid basis, duties and responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include:Work closely with Finance colleagues to understand underlying ledgers used in statutory accounts preparation, constructively challenging as appropriate. Assist in preparation of year-end tax support information.Assist in dealing with requests from the external auditors.Support delivery of a robust internal control environment ensuring compliance with all internal procedures and reporting standards.The CandidateTo be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).Experience in preparing or auditing statutory accounts.Proficient in Excel; SAP S/4HANA and OneStream experience a bonus.
