Robert Half Cambridge are partnered with an organisation in their search for a Finance Analyst to join their Finance Department in Royston.The role of Finance Analyst is paying a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 with study support offered for the right candidate. Once the initial onboarding period is over this role will be required in the office 3 days a week out of the five.Responsibilities:Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Liaise with key stakeholders within business units to develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes.Creation and development of Group management information pack, highlighting risks and opportunities for business performance and develop recommendations to mitigate, correct or deliver as appropriateAssist with monthly management accounts processAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.Monthly review of Balance sheet reconciliations and ability to autonomously identify and analyse reconciling differencesPreparation of KPI data tables and Profit forecasts for inclusion in monthly reporting to Group financeOpportunity to be involved in delivering new ERP systemSkills and qualifications:Have proven experience in a similar position in retail/production industry.Studying or recently qualified to chartered accountant level (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/ICAEW) and able to demonstrate a high level of numeracy and problem solving and presentation abilities.Possess the ability to work autonomouslyStrong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, financial modelling, and forecastingRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
