Fire and Security Commercial Manager – Essex We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire and Security Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our fire and security division, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, and driving business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the fire and security industry. Salary Package: £65,000 - £80,000 25 days holiday Car allowance Pension Key Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the fire and security market. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and quotations to potential clients. Commercial Management: Oversee the commercial aspects of fire and security projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the fire and security division. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff. Implement and maintain effective operational processes and procedures. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all fire and security systems and services comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, technology advancements, and regulatory changes. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and quality. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and support to clients. Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Gather client feedback and implement improvements to enhance service delivery. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the fire and security industry. Experience with bringing in new business to a company Proven track record in commercial management and business development. Strong understanding of fire and security systems, regulations, and standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
