Floor Fitter – Domestic – required for a company based in Bristol, BS11. This role will involve attending new build properties (which are usually occupied) and doing warranty fixes / 2 nd fixes to various types of flooring. £35,000 per annum Annual Bonus (dependent on Company Performance against set targets) Monday – Friday 07:30-16:00 – no weekend working. Van provided (for commuting and work use only) 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays + fully paid Christmas shut down Enrolment to Employee Assistance Programme at 3 months service. About the role Start each day at the depot in Avonmouth, but you can usually head straight home after your last job. Work is based within 1.5hrs outside/around Bristol Identify flooring issues at customers’ homes and determine if they are due to manufacturing installations or a site-based fault Light, small snagging work - mainly carpet and vinyl, with some laminate Generally working on own, but can be paired up on larger jobs Completing relevant paperwork, including customer satisfaction forms Ensure sites are left clean, safe and tidy The right candidate Full UK manual driving licence and confident driving a long wheel base van Prior floor fitting / floor preparation experience CSCS required (however, this can be funded for the right candidate) Excellent communication and customer service skills Basic IT skills and an ability to keep accurate records using tablet-based reporting systems Flexible in location and daily working patterns If you are interested in this role, please apply online or for further information, contact Pertemps Bristol Technical team and speak with Charlie Radford or James Guyatt
