FP&A Analyst

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit an FP&A Analyst to join a well recognised business based in Cheltenham.Competitive salary plus bonusRole responsibilities will include but not limited to: Support the FP&A Director on monthly reporting and analysis of key metrics, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all deliverablesProvide key inputs and variance analysis in support of monthly board pack presentationReview monthly P&L and provide insight to managementCollaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure consistency in forward looking data and reinforce a known 'single source of truth' datapointAssist with the continuous refinement of annual budget and quarterly forecasting processesPartnering with budget holders to ensure robust cost control to deliver business targets and optimise spendDrive the continuous improvement of the finance function from a process, operational, and systems perspectiveProvide ad hoc analysis and project support as required supporting the broader finance transformationPerson specification:Qualified or near qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with planning, forecasting, and budgeting experienceStrong MS Excel skill and sound knowledge of financial modellingDetail orientated, analytical and problem-solving mindset, complemented by ability to surface the key material issuesAbility to build relationships across the business and influence stakeholdersExperience with manipulating large data sets to provide financial analysisPositive and proactive work ethic, with the ability to work autonomouslyStrong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to building teamworkFor the right person the client is offering a very competitive:Competitive salary plus bonusRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
