Role Overview As a Graduate Transport Planner, you'll assist a team of experienced professionals in delivering high-quality transport planning services. Your main responsibilities will include: - Understanding key planning processes and policy documents. - Assisting in data collection activities like traffic counts and travel surveys. - Conducting accessibility reviews for sustainable travel modes. - Estimating trip generation for development proposals and analysing transport network impacts. - Using industry-standard software for traffic modelling and assessment. - Preparing detailed reports including Transport Assessments and Travel Plans. - Building positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will possess: - A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience/interest in transport planning. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to present technical information. - Proficiency in data analysis, particularly with tools like Excel and ArcGIS. - A driving license, which is preferable but not essential.
