£19.98 ph - £22.89 ph HGV Class 1 drivers, Based in BIRMINGHAM, National RDC/Trunking work. Mainly Afternoons & Nights and Weekends We can accommodate a wide variety of availability from full time 5/6 days a week to Part time 2/3 days or even 1 day if desired. Please enquire as availability of shifts will fluctuate Your duties as a HGV Class 1 Driver will include: - Regular weekends available - Inter depot trunking to RDCs - Nationwide trailer swaps - Delivery of mail by cages across the country - Time Crucial Deliveries - Pre-set routes with planned breaks - Communicating with the traffic office in the event of delays or diversions To be successful for this role you must have the following: - Have held your C+E licence for 2 years - CPC card and Digital Tachograph card - Up to 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs) HGV Class 1 pay rates: £19.98 - Standard days (any shift that does not fall into the below) £20.95 - Dawn Shift (Start between 02:01 - 04:00) £20.49 - Early shift (start between 04:00 - 05:00) £20.23 - Early (2) shift (start between 05:00 - 05:30) £20.70 - Evenings (Finish times between 20:00 - 21:39) £21.52 - Lates (Finish times between 21:40 - 01:59) £22.89 - Nights (finish after 02:00) To be considered for this role a basic identity check and criminal record check will need to be completed prior to completing the practical driving assessment.
