HGV Class 1 Driver Salary: £15.00PH - £17.00PH Employment Type: Temporary/Permanent Our prestigious client is looking for a HGV1 / C+E/ Class 1 Drivers to work at their site in South Staffordshire, you will be responsible for: Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Safely operating the HGV Class 1 vehicle in compliance with road traffic regulations. Loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring they are secure and handled with care. Planning delivery schedules and routes for optimal efficiency. Completing required paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks. Maintaining communication with the transport office regarding any delays, issues or emergencies. Providing excellent customer service at delivery points. To be considered for this HGV1/C+E/Class 1 driver role you will need: Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C) driving license. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification. Digital tachograph card. Ideally minimum 2 years of experience Strong knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliability and punctuality.
