Responsibilities As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will: Perform routine and cyclic maintenance on public highways. Undertake minor civil works including pothole repairs, kerb laying, and drainage. Other duties include traffic management and vegetation clearance. Be on standby for winter and emergency maintenance out-of-hours. Requirements Full UK Driving Licence with 7.5 tonne or HGV Class 2 entitlement. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Streetworks (NRSWA) Qualification. Previous highways experience, including black top and white work patching. All candidates will undergo drug and alcohol testing prior to starting and will be subject to random testing. Desirable Qualifications Traffic Management Qualifications (TTMBC, 12D, 12AB).
