Infrastructure Inspector Cornwall Are you a Infrastructure Inspector looking for a new challenge in Cornwall? RGB are delighted to be supporting a Civil Engineering Main contractor who have recently secured a Major Highways upgrade scheme in Cornwall and are now looking to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Inspector to join the team. The main duties of the role is to ensure that any infrastructure is fit for purpose, safe and to the correct standard for incorporation into the highway asset. The role will include the day to day inspection and supervision of infrastructure works sites relating to the public built environment within Cornwall. Other duties may include: Ensure that any works taking place comply with the current requirements of the NRSWA, Codes of Practices Resolve queries from Statutory Undertakers, Contractors and Other Works promoters. Utilise Infrastructure management systems where appropriate. Organise and manage investigation/verification programmes of completed works. Assist the adoptions engineer throughout the adoption process including the review of material test certificates, CCTV reports and preparation of defect and remedial reports for developers and contractors. Contribute to the development of inspection processes and documentation for the adoption of new infrastructure Liaise with Contractors and Statutory Undertakers to ensure that their works do not cause undue inconvenience and delay. The successful applicant will need to have previous experience of highway design or construction practices and techniques including sustainable drainage systems. Due to the location of the projects its also essential that you have a driving licence with your own vehicle.
