The main goal of this role is to be responsible for a range of Security Systems installations, such as Access Control System, CCTV, Intruder alarms, Intercom, etc. Assisting in project design and cost estimation. Taking responsibility for the overall quality of work delivered on-site. Extensive travelling within the UK and abroad is an essential part of the role, including flights and overnight stays. Area covered – UK and EMEA.Duties - Systems installation as per each project design on time, to scope, and on budget.Work closely with the Project Manager and the wider team to ensure that installation tasks are carried out at a high standard within the specified program timelines.Liaise with clients and their contractors, offering the best possible customer service.Provide with site surveys and detailed reports to identify risks and make recommendations.Ability to understand complex drawings and schematics.Preparing comprehensive documents and preliminary studies for various projects.Effectively managing external interfaces with clients, suppliers, and internal disciplines.QualificationsExperience, Competencies and Personal AttributesTop competency required: excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.Minimum 5 years+ of experience in Security installations.Extensive experience in installing Security systems, especially Access Control systems.AMAG Symmetry access control system knowledge is an advantage, but not essential.Understanding and knowledge of British Standards.Excellent attention to detail with excellent planning and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively alongside team members.Good IT knowledge, software installation into Windows Operating Systems, IP based systems programming, and networking principles.Excellent hand skills and use of power and hand tools (Crimping and Soldering)Good general knowledge of building materials and appropriate fixings.Additional InformationChubb Systems provides sophisticated communication, security and surveillance systems for a number of Europe’s leading organisations and specialises in large infrastructure projects.
