Interim Project Accountant - System Implementation

Protiviti the global management consulting firm are currently seeking a Project Accountant to support our leading Financial Services client on a high profile customer management implementation programme.About the Role: As an Interim Project Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in a new customer management system implementation programme. You will collaborate closely with project managers, and digital and data teams, and lead the Financial Accounting team in the setup and integration of our newest retail partner into our accounting and reporting processes.Key Responsibilities:Lead the integration of a new retail partner into our accounting and reporting systems.Work alongside project managers and digital and data teams to ensure seamless setup.Oversee the financial accounting team's processes to align with new customer management systems.Drive process documentation and process improvement initiatives.Requirements:Qualified Accountant: You are a certified professional with proven expertise in financial accounting.Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience within the financial services industry is beneficial.Management Accounts/Financial Reporting: A thorough understanding of month-end close processes, coupled with hands-on experience in Management Accounts or Financial Reporting roles.Process Improvement: Strong skills in process documentation and process improvement, ensuring our systems are both efficient and effective.System Integration: Experience working with customer management or financial reporting systems is crucial for this role.If your experience is aligned with the programme detailed above, please submit your updated CV and we will be in touch to discuss in more detail.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
