Internal Quality Assurer IQA - Engineering £38,500 per annum Permanent Monday-Friday Hybrid role- Lyneham/Wiltshire Pertemps are delighted to be working with a major client within the Defence sector in the Lyneham area. As an IQA, you'll ensure accuracy and consistency of learning delivery and assessment decisions within training and apprenticeship programmes. Specific Responsibilities of the IQA Understand the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of teaching, learning & assessment Internally assure the quality of assessment Ensure all supporting verification records comply with Quality Assurance Procedures including Data Protection Mentor and support Assessment Staff to develop and comply with teaching and assessment standards To conduct quality assurance activities in line with the IQA Strategy Produce sampling plans based on risk and in line with the IQA strategy Maintain all quality documentation, update on Share Point in line with deadlines Carry out OTLA in line with Strategy and update associated documentation on Share Point in line with deadlines Give clear, accurate and timely feedback to Field Apprenticeship Coaches and Apprenticeship Coaches, both verbally and written Work closely with Team Leaders to develop on-going development plans for individual Field Apprenticeship Coaches and Apprenticeship Coaches Lead standardisation activities to ensure accuracy and consistency of assessment decisions and TLA delivery between Apprenticeship Coaches Support the development of standardisation and Field Apprenticeship Coaches/Apprenticeship Coaches support activities Participate in standardisation and development activities Qualifications and experience required Industry related qualifications and experience (automotive, mechanical or aeronautical engineering ) with an NVQ L3 or higher in Engineering Assessor/CAVA award and IQA award Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook packages (Computer literate) Good Understanding of work based learning programmes.
