Job Title: Internal Sales Representative Location: Chester, UK Salary: £26,000 Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours (half day Friday) About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a leading supplier of building/ancillaries products in the UK. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing customer relationships and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of customers in the UK. Generate new business through outbound calls. Price specific customers and collaborate with local area TSMs. Provide excellent customer service and sales administration support. Cover order-taking when necessary. Key Tasks / Accountabilities: Proactively generate new business through outbound calls. Develop relationships with key prospects and decision-makers. Produce quotes for customers and conduct market analysis. Identify opportunities to add value to customers' businesses. Handle customer inquiries promptly and efficiently. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain team morale and provide cover as needed. Achieve volume and margin targets in targeted UK areas. Increase customer numbers and percentage of Ancillary sales. Meet quote turnaround time targets. Job Requirements: ESSENTIAL: Minimum 1 year in a customer service/internal sales role. Ability to build effective working relationships. Commitment to providing excellent customer service. Strong communication skills. IT Literate, including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook). DESIRABLE: Knowledge of construction industry and products. Familiarity with AS400 System. Understanding of local and national geography. Experience with builders' merchant buying groups.
